Controlled. Thorough. Clean.
Ultrasonic
Cleaning
Quality begins where dirt ends. With our standardized cleaning process from GDFT, we ensure that your components are more durable and reliable. Our powerful 22-liter ultrasonic cleaning systems remove even the smallest particles, such as oil, metal chips, and abrasives, from small parts and precision components. All cleaning takes place in our controlled cleanroom environment, in accordance with ISO 8. This prevents recontamination during the process and ensures maximum cleanliness, precise manufacturing, and high-quality standards.
We also serve demanding industries such as medical technology, optics, biotech, semiconductors, and the hydrogen industry.

Thorough Cleaning Down to the Detail
Ultrasonic cleaning is a modern process that removes contaminants not only from the surface but also from the most complex structures.
This method is non-contact and gentle, protecting sensitive components and fine tools. The gentle yet effective cleaning also reaches hard-to-access cavities and complex geometries without damaging the surfaces of delicate parts.

The process is based on the principle of cavitation. An ultrasonic generator converts electrical energy into high-frequency sound waves. These signals are transmitted via transducers to the cleaning fluid. In the fluid, billions of microscopic vapor bubbles are formed and implode in the shortest amount of time. These implosions generate extremely high pressure and temperature differences as well as intense micro-currents. The energy released acts like countless tiny brushes that remove dirt such as oils, greases, dust, particles, or production residues from the surfaces. This is particularly beneficial for hard-to-reach areas, narrow gaps, holes, and threads that cannot be cleaned thoroughly with conventional methods. This ensures consistent and reliable quality with every single batch.
After the cleaning bath in the special solution, a thorough rinsing phase with purified water removes any remaining residues. Finally, the parts are gently dried in a controlled area. This ensures that we can deliver the components to you fully cleaned and optimally prepared for further processing, upon request.
Additional Quality Assurance:
- Upon request, we conduct an external cleanliness analysis by an accredited laboratory. This documentation provides you with the highest level of security and traceability for your own quality standards.
Maximum Cleanliness Through ISO 8 Cleanroom
Under strictly controlled conditions, particle concentration in the air is monitored. In our ISO 8 cleanroom, precise limits for airborne particles are defined, ensuring a clean working environment.
But cleanliness means more to us than just clean air: We also regulate temperature, humidity, as well as the quality of process water and compressed air on-site. This comprehensive control of all environmental parameters is crucial to guarantee flawless cleaning. This prevents cleaned components from becoming decontaminated during the process or immediately afterward.Through this closed process chain in our cleanroom, we ensure that the achieved cleanliness is maintained without quality loss until further processing.

Advantages of an ultrasonic cleaner
- Highest component quality: Thorough removal of oils, fats, and particles increases the lifespan and operational reliability of the respective components. This is particularly beneficial for cleaning hard-to-reach areas such as narrow holes or threads, which often remain insufficiently clean with conventional methods.
- Reproducible process: By precisely controlling time, temperature, and chemical concentration, a uniform, high-quality result is guaranteed for every batch. This enables a fully standardized and controllable cleaning process.
- Reduced scrap and complaints: Even the smallest contaminants can cause functional issues in large production runs. Cleaning can help minimize such defects.
- Gentle cleaning that preserves materials: Since the process works without physical contact, sensitive surfaces are not subjected to mechanical stress. Unlike brushes or abrasive cleaners, no scratches or wear occur, preserving the integrity of the components.
This method is ideal for the most demanding requirements in medicine, optics, semiconductors, biotech, and the hydrogen industry. - Time efficiency and scalability: The process is generally faster than manual cleaning methods and is ideally suited for mass production. Large quantities can be processed in parallel and uniformly in a short amount of time.
